The Safeguarding of Children and Adults at Risk within The Helen O’Grady Drama Academy

The Helen O’Grady Drama Academy takes its responsibility to safeguard the children and potential adults at risk with whom it works very seriously. All Franchisees are required to implement the Safeguarding Policies, Practices and Guidelines, as issued by Helen O’Grady (CI) Ltd.

The Academy adheres to strict Safeguarding practice requiring all adults with access to students and / or adults at risk with our classes to receive bespoke Safeguarding training to Foundation, Intermediate or Higher level, depending upon their position within the Academy. Regular training and updates on Safeguarding are provided by Head Office on a quarterly basis and at national training seminars.

The Academy has 3 appointed Safeguarding Co-ordinators, 2 of who are members of Head Office. These persons are named in the Safeguaridng Policy and on the Safeguarding Policy Summary – for display within all of our classrooms.
